As of the latest report, Singapore’s total population reached 6.11 million, representing a 1.2% year-on-year increase.
Among them, Singapore Citizens (SCs) numbered 3.66 million, reflecting a 0.7% growth compared to the previous year.
The number of Permanent Residents (PRs) remained steady at 0.54 million, showing no significant change.
Meanwhile, the Non-Resident (NR) population rose by 2.7%, reaching 1.91 million, driven mainly by the continued demand for foreign manpower in key sectors.
